LA Fashion Week with Alexzondra Middleton

How I have missed you with your eclectically confident identity confusion. I love LA I like to think of it as one of the most diverse meccas in America.Then why is there  always segregated confusion during LA Fashion Week? Why do so many people want to constantly compare or try to imitate shows and dynamics brought from elsewhere instead of embracing West Coast and Southwestern Fashion for what it is, a very laid back but extraordinary big show of personal style expression far more than it's East Coast counterparts, (which I view as more commercial and stuck up) This year I actually enjoyed the plethora of fashion events throughout the month of October. It is a pleasure watching and experiencing the organizations who have continued to thrive in the Los Angeles fashion industry over the past few years since Mercedes Benz officially decided not to transplant their tents here any longer.

so busy so busy whoa BUSY

I am so excited about everything I have going on for LA Fashion Week. i have RSVPd to my events of choice and the show I am helping with on Thursday is coming together and there isn't much chaos...yet. I have just moved into a new house with my mom hence the limited blogging. I am also finally actually ready to post pieces onto my etsy shop. i will admit that i am quite nervous since this is my online vintage launch... i just hope people like my merch. i tried to go for classic basics that pop. i think i got it right on the button actually... and although photog after flaky photog managed to not get my pictures done i decided to go DIY chic and just have a friend and my self timer help me with the lookbook and ad pics... once again i hope people like it... i thought my arrangements were very creative. well here i am babbling about nonsense when i should be working...

...i was also very excited to receive my really cool Fashionary , it's the latest and most fun accessory for fashion students. it's perfect sleek full of knowledge and pages to be filled with my doodles, sketches, and thoughts, i really think the layout and structure of this little book is genius! pure genius!!!

...i also got a new phone cover. yes i designed it. what do you think????

...o how i miss my leisurely days of writing all the time, i am so busy all of a sudden. it seems i look around and poof, im completely booked. i like it that way anyways... and please all who are to be in la try to visit our la fashion week show and check out izbya.com to see all the new merch and layout!! it's divine

LA FAshion Week SHow

i think i might be addicted to being crazy busy, because when I am not I can get quite irritable and restless. So please excuse me for just a moment or a couple weeks while i sort out my checklist.  It's long and stylish and I am having a blast. I have tons going on at iz...by a and i would love for you to join the party!!! We are finally going to be able to get our etsy store restocked and although i have been claiming thins for a little while now the day approaches us quickly.stay tuned and hope to see you at LA Fashion Week

Supastar LA Fashion Week Show

I have come to the conclusion that LA Fashion Week needs to be revived. Ever since Mercedes Benz pulled their sponsorship it's apparent that LA has no idea what to do with themselves Yet, through the fashion week clouds there were a few bright rays of light and one of them was the Rachel Broussard Supastar Show.[which we sponsored!!!] It wasn't half bad. I loved the DJ and dug the clothes. The host should have been shot on sight and I didn't win the raffle.That's okay though I had a blast none the less.haha Enjoy the photos.

Margaritas… A Fashion Week trend!!!!

I don’t think I am crazy,maybe just a tad bit buzzed.The trends of Los Angeles Fashion Week did not only consist of the creative and the trendy. It also could’ve been known for it’s fashionable cocktail hours. I guess I understand it, how else would anyone get up the courage to network. My fave Fashion Week drink:

LA Fashion Week- the toilet of the chic fashion world

Los Angeles is such an interesting place all together, but as far as our Fashion Week is concerned I believe it's built on the same dream cloud as music and movies. Except where have all of the pretty people gone. Maybe it's just the make-up and tacky hair styles, but I don't think I have ever seen so many ugly women on runways before. I am not hating as someone might say. I am seriously just caught in a whirlwind of tacky confusion!! Enjoy !!!!!

So sad my dear city i love so much looks like they pulled the best couture they could out of the toilet from other major cities fashion week .There were a few exceptions this year as shown above. It will be okay. The years to come will bring more variety and better quality of chic. I hope...
