Unfortunately my life has moved so quickly this year i have not had any time to write at all, as you can see on dates of previous posts. I feel absolutely guilty about it, but now i have oppurtunity to do recap posts from the beginning of the summer til the present.This year i have had a baby, lost a parent moved to a new state and am going back and forth across the country, acquired a house that i am excited to decorate and a menagerie of pets to call all my own (compared to being shared).stocked up on my luxury vintage goods to be sold, I have tested too many products and attended too many events to count( and now i must write about them),attracted a stalker, currently working on what my life career shall be.i am sure i have been busier than most people you know. i will also be able to give more detailed and meaningful posts that offer more advice and cool things to check out.i will also use this space as a sort of journal at the risk of over sharing. Compared to just giving my own opinion about photos i like. who says everything has to be posted right after an event.a good time or product is timeless right... More to Read in 2012 !!!

At first glance this just looks like a mushy post about love and fashion, but it's not. while I was reading this interview in Interview Sept 2011 between Anne Hathaway and Chelsea Handler I thought to myself , "What an odd coupling for an interview." Then I thought to myself "Wow this could have been better and more interesting." When I read the above quote I said aloud "I've been thinking this forever! Cheers to Anne's mom." Then I looked at the photos and loved the lace. So i decided to blog it. See who needs a tumblr hehe. So here's the actual interview here.

Hangin High Lyin Low

One of my favorite things about traveling is staying in hotels and eating at cool restaurants. I recently had a sort of vacation in the city I live in. I was just returning to Los Angeles from a visit to my mom’s and was offered a chance to stay at a few hip and rather new hotels in the LA area. First on the list was the Joie de Vivre establishment on the very happening Venice Beach strip a boutique hotel called Hotel Erwin. I am not quite sure who this Erwin fellow is but he must be a really cool cat to house such a chill place to stay in such a chill environment to stay in. I was welcomed very late one night by the coolest desk clerk with an awesome accent and such great hospitality. The room was definitely no penthouse suite at the four seasons but I loved the street art on the closet doors and the very mod decorating scheme.I was not able to make it to the connected restaurant called Hash J unfortunately, but I will be stopping by for breakfast sometime and will let you know how it is and also if they serve anything with hash in it. (Wouldn’t that be a delight) My favorite part was the view from the roof top looking down on the venice beach boardwalk and out at the Pacific Ocean. Would I visit this place again or if I were really on vacation? I say most definitely. I would also just go to hang out at the rooftop lounge with a few friends just to have a drink dressed stylishly in my bohemian hippie gear of course. Check it out yourself sometime you are in LA by the beach or grab a room if you live here and had one too many margaritas to drive home from the beach.

Although I have not been with Two Point Oh LA for a full year yet. I have had enough fun to make it feel that way. I am very impressed by the coming together of all the LA fashion bloggers as LA isn't really the coming together sort of place. I am not sure what my picnic attire will be yet, but it has to be fun. I mean can't go to a fashion blogger event looking like a bum. Perhaps bum chic, but definitely not a bum. This is my shout out for all who are far wide and close to come join a few of the cool kids at our celebration. Congrats Two Point Oh on a full year strong!!!

Fireflies and fireworks

This summer I am experiencing more than just California beaches and San Francisco music festivals. I have no idea what to wear in these crazy weathered times. I have pretty much lived in maxi dresses and the appropriate accessories for the day. Which sometimes includes an umbrella :/. I have a number of bug bites. I am enjoying ice cream, popsicles, and vintage inspired sunglasses. I haven’t indulged in a great deal of pop culture. Im trying to learn French. This editorial inspired me to get off my buns and make a slight effort in the looks department of my life as I have been extremely lazy, with just cause. I am absolutely loving the colors and the draping. it is so glamorous and I have a new obsession with beautiful vintage hats.

I missed you!!! I wish I was better at actually chronicling the transitions in my life. But as we all know sometimes we just get too busy. Here is the lowdown. I am back and blogging and you can expect a lot of posts to just pop up. I have decided to try the best I can not to go with the grain as I am really tired of reading cookie cutter personal blogs. Part of my break from blogging had to do with just simply not feeling like my content was very interesting because it was right along the lines of what every other fashion blogger was writing about. It also had to do with helping my family with some things and the lack of internet access. So I went out and got some inspiring new interests and joined a few clubs and orginizations and even started one. I came to the conclusion there is not much point in being fashionable with no where to go. I also became addicted to a couple of new websites and the idea of being everywhere well at least traveling more. There’s More… but for now

It's a crazy experience writing after so long it seems like so much to say

I have been dreaming and drooling over beautiful floor length gowns forever and wanted to switch my whole wardrobe to feature only dresses, but it is just not practical. I have always been obsessed with floor length gowns and skirts and was so excited when I purchased two floor length racer back tank dresses by Divided from H & M on sale. They are light and long and perfect for layering or wearing with boots, booties, or sandals. I can tie it to make it my desired length and i can play with the draping of it. I have to say my favorite way to wear a fun floor length gown is just the way i like to live my life, Just let it flow...

I hope you all had a great holiday because I definitely did and I will catch you up little by little on just what went on after i handle a little business ranting and a bit of online business. First, I apologize for being a crappy blogger and not giving my fashion and writing responsibilities enough attention. After speaking with a good friend of mine who always makes me feel better about her and myself I realized I have a great gift of great taste and talent and I am completely depriving my online community of that flair and originality. Well the attention my blog deserves has arrived once again. Looking back on hires gone bad and unused photos from 2010 i have realized just how much i have not shared about last year and how much seriously needs to change. This past year would have made a great book let alone a series of a bunch of more fun blog posts.I will do better. The Solution: Look forward to 2011 x iZ...by A x I AM Style.Second, my Etsy shop is empty. i will change that. i am doing better about being more social. No need for New Year’s Resolutions I am already doing better at what i need to do better at.People should have more self love in 2011. it could do us all some good.

the facts are these:

This is the outfit I should have worn the day i took some promotional pictures for the Hollywood Has a Heart Charity event. The pictures that came out make me look like a jolly apple, the shirt just wasn't for closeups with that bra.

I wonder if the shots that were full body shots were any better. The above outfit was fun to wear and I am happy to announce the placement of this black chunky knit skirt in my Etsy store. Yep that's right good folks it's back to fashion slanging. It's been a great great journey finding all of the treasures to be available in the Etsy store. Plus I am always drawn to every single piece i pick and approve for sale. This skirt however is so much fun and has so much character. I love the yarn balls at the tips of the drawstrings and the big knit holes. it's in excellent condition. This isn't the only piece I found handmade by this woman. Apparently the Holiday season is meant for Holiday Events and parties to take up all of your time. I am definitely not complaining about the abundance of parties, but i am disappointed in my lack of being able to keep up with dates, prices and whereabouts of all of these events. i love susie's layering such a cute outfit.

You know when you start a new school and you have to try to figure out which group of classmates you want to hangout with and be associated with etc.? well that’s what it sort of feels like as far as trying to figure out new and appropriate goals for myself. [no worries staying a blogger is of course on that list]. I am not sure why as of lately it has been so difficult for me to decide what I really want to do and stick to it!!!! I have always been the type of person who loves variety and looking into what others are doing first hand and sort of shaping myself from the conclusions I come to with that. to build my future. Blogs and biographies help with that and in a dream world i suppose so could Boutiques.com by Google. They sure do know how to throw one hell of a campaigning event and I do believe and i know i am not alone feeling just a little bit cooler after seeing all of the press pictures from the bloggers we heart at the party. As far as the actual site is concerned it is very fun browsing other people’s interests and I believe it will be good for sales for plenty of designers other than that I wasn’t jumping over any hills for it. Maybe later those thoughts will change and I may come to love and rely on the website for inspiration but until then...

I had to go and reinvent myself and so now it's like starting all over again without literally having to start all over again it's sort of like starting in the middle of the beginning. I would definitely say i gave life a little trimming and a bit of fertilizer.[that sounds funny] I had to take a break I was so uninspired so the technology gods cut me off cold and hard. : ( My precious purple laptop i had made mine was doused with a nice fresh glass of iced Strawberry lemonade O so gracefully by the giant jumping dog known in my house as Shaka Zulu.

... “ it’s okay!”I thought to myself making plans to simply just take a bunch of photos and work from my hard drive on a desktop where I lived perhaps. No, not happening. First off, my hard drive was apparently linked to a PC at some point and the Mac desktop at my living space was not going to allow me to take any of it’s precious knowledge and share it with my hard drive.That sucked ,but as you can see I was able to work around that issue and the crappy time schedule I had to work on the computer to half ass a few posts just for consistency and a genuine need to share a few inspirations. It still wasn’t enough. I am an all or nothing kind of person and would prefer to throw myself completely into projects one part at a time. (it’s a very odd work habit,but I am still great at multi-tasking, but it also causes for a bad habit of procrastination also.) SO...

I decided to work on my life photography skills and live my life through a camera a very cute Nikon, if i might add. But a week after this decision[ just long enough for me to have a positive outlook on having to slow down work progress on all things I have going on via Internet] I was struck again by the effing technology gods. My very sleek digital camera with no viewing hole or any knobs only buttons and a screen was mysteriously crushed in the middle of the night and ruined.#uberfailtechnologygods. It still comes on and takes photos, but you can’t change any of the settings.Makes for crappy photos.

Anyway the point of all of my gripping is I have now a new laptop a new camera along with a couple of other fun toys and am officially returning to the Internet and art.[and i finally got up the courage to start posting outfit pics]. The only good thing about not being able to work on the Internet every minute I was not working is I was forced to enter back into the world and be conscious about it and now I present myself a bit more chic,definitely original, a whole lot wiser and of course my blogs will be too. So if you have ever read this blog before or thought you knew what it was all about, you probably don't. there will be tons more babbling with photos. Art is forever evolving and I absolutely love making the decision in my world to make blogging into an art. Plus it’s the only way I can think of to make sitting on a computer all day sound glamorous.

it was sort of funny not being able to completely stay away from blogging and the internet. I am officially a little addicted. EVEN tho i wasn't constantly blogging i was reading other blogs and now I am living a serious fraction of my life on the internet and thinking about what i have read on the internet. Almost gave up on the internet. Happy i didnt.

I have this dream of being extremely organized and always being able to meet deadlines for my company, but like I said it's a dream. So as I am in the position to constantly re think and re apply my fashion genius to the enhancement of my site I am thinking I want to create more videoes for marketing. I love stylish cute couples and even though I have never envisioned myself as a couples sort of girl I always envied artists who date artists and everyone loves being around them because they are all artsy and they totally vibe off of each other and pretty much change the world with their constant creativity and it seems like they always have enough money working in the arts, and dress awesome of course and live in adorably decorated places. I even remember reading an article in a magazine a few years back or perhaps it was an editorial shoot, but it was musicians and their stylish mates or spouses or whatever the title was. The point is there were these couples and they all seemed so perfect I mean like perfect accents of each other. I wonder if before shoots and interviews if there are like compromising sessions before the camera and interviewer are around where the partners are like okay “dont do this and this and this...” I imagine that’s what it’s going to be like for interviews with my super cool boyfriend when people want to interview us and take photos of our stylish downtown abode. If or when that ever happens until then I will continue to live vicariously through all of the cool artist couples that already exist like Binki’s...

Of course I know and understand that all fashion bloggers and H & M hoarders love this Lanvin collaboration a lot. But when I realized the good news dontcha know I peed a little lol. Time has flown by on me again and just about 4 minutes ago I realized, It's Almost Halloween! I love holidays and this year I don't even have a lick of a lan of what I am going to do. Of course i have been invited to plenty of parties and events, but nothing really made me want to go all out get dressed up and run the streets with plenty drunk dressed up patrons.However scanning the internet for new people to become a fan of I ran across an American Apparel ad on a few blogs with what i thought to be a clever idea for a costume using their clothing. SO I went on a hunt for the brain behind the madness thinking it would be some creepy old man wanting to take photos of cool young people, which is surprisingly very common in Los Angeles, where AA headquarters are located.To my surprise I found these photos were being taken by Taghrid . She's a photographer for American Apparel, has a sick blog and a dope look. How can one not be a fan. I am still not sure what I am going to do for Halloween, but I am now more motivated to go out and perhaps I will run into someone about this cool.

I have a strict belief, if you are addicted to something it doesn't matter how far you run in the other direction you are just going to end up right smack back where you started rolling around naked and happy in your addictions. This is not particularly very healthy and most addictions i will admit have the tendency to get you in situations like being homeless or locked up in jail or some type of mental establishment. Even though life's morbid journeys may seem sad they are great inspiration for art and fun to apply abstract ways of thinking in our own situations.Plus being compassionate can teach you to loosen up a bit in a way. This short video put out by Proenza Schouler doesn't particularly have anything to do with this post.

August is approaching and that means so is fall and that means the thigh and knee high boots can be pulled out of the closet to have heels fixed, dusted off, worship ceremonies etc. It also means the first digital issue release of IZ Magazine. I am very excited!!!! The theme is California Love and I have been tortured and forced to stop being such an anti social loner blogger and do so much research about the history and inspirations and great artists this great state brings us. Not only have I learned a lot I have also almost completely filled up my calendar with cool events promoting and supporting the magazine and izbya.com. I suppose more opportunities and things on the work schedule is what happens when your fashion blogs turn 3 years old! How fun right I turned 23 and the izbya.com blog empire turns 3 in 2010!! So I won't be posting nearly as much as I wish I could in August and September during all of the celebrating and with the release of the mag and also my dear sweet little laptop was fried in a freak beverage throwing accident : ( No worries tho loves as there will be posts just maybe not as many as i'd hope and you can always follow my real life antics on Twitter.and my personal blog Bionic Puzzi here.

It is a task in itself to stay true to yourself as you are growing up and live life enjoyably on your own terms. To do it with style and grace is almost an impossible feat,but to do it and package the transformation like art is just pure genius and I am rather sure a few Hollywood young-ins wished they could have learned this lesson sooner themselves. I am currently in the process of creating my own self packaging at this point in my life and I must say I am having a great time and was completely inspired by Solange and her fro. I am definitely almost tempted to ditch my red hair and renew my fro... like i said almost tempted.

Okay so I have like this obsession with this guy, well I have an obsession with a few guys. But anyways this guy is like so cool he’s got like cool friends and a sexy body and great style most of the time and a cute face and he likes to try and save the world … you get the point the list goes on. Anyways point is hanging out with cute and ambitious high school kids brings those kinds of memories back for me. We did this video for B and with B I suppose and I really wish K would have given me more notice than he did. I also want him to pay my models in a timely manner, but you never know with these hot ambitious artist types. I was surprised at how cooperative J was acting and I even told A about it. I am really happy D showed up for the shoot, it was kind of funny as she couldn’t stop dancing and I think she had a Kylie Minogue shoot right after that. OMG and when E showed up I couldn’t resist the urge in my soul to dry hump his leg. Anyways the cute young guys I met on set are going to make the girls hearts melt. I mean the kids I know are way cooler and better looking even than those Disney kids… haha . I hope I didn’t come out looking too old. I can’t wait to see the video I love these guys.

I mean what girls don’t like young men with cute style and ambition.

I am using initials instead of full names to protect the identity of my coolest friends as they appreciate exclusivity and I watch a lot of Gossip Girl.

I love living in Los Angeles and I love traveling so I can get away from los Angeles even more. Being literally from LA and regularly hanging around Angelenos also from LA can sometimes make you forget haw fun it is to be young in this city where people from all over the world travel to trash and act crazy all on a mission to be a big famous ________________ (fill in the blank). The one thing LA is lacking in it’s enviroment is the big money fancy fashion industry New York Fashion Week harbors,but I have a vision we will come up with our own equivalent one day. it seems as if this city is always getting dissed as not being couture enough to hold it’s ground in the fashion world. I understand the fact we don’t particularly have the best since of community in our city as it is filled with an overflow of “haters”, but I believe love and the arts always prevail as they breed knowledge and success. So with that being said I am going to continue to Shop LA and try to support and help our fashion scene evolve...

...I hope we can get some help as it’s not an easy task. But it is summer and that’s when we shine the brightest. Perhaps our solution is to have our fashion week during the Summer and Fall. now I am babbling. The point of this post was to show you some pics from our shopping trips to discover shops to be featured in iZ Mag.

On the day of the Revival Vintage Opening I had already had about two previous meetings both involving light drinking. So by the time I arrived at the opening I was feeling rather loose and had that no worries glow. When we arrived we were impressed first by the classy turnout of Angelenoes and two by the champagne. I loved the vibe and decorations of the store and the merchandise was very cute and trendy. I had an interesting convo with the beautiful and glamorous owner … she was very nice. We met a ton of fun people and I can’t wait to go back to this charming little boutique and make some very classy purchases.

Haha my life is pretty hectic. So much work to do and evolving so quickly I learned the only way to get everything done is to build a team. That turned out to be a lot harder and and effortless at the same time. I know that seems confusing written, but can you imagine living that type of confusion and chaos. Well along the way to building a half way decent team of people to get a message across I have encountered a many of cool characters to keep me occupied until I will finally have the perfect running fashion team of artists and business minded young people. Although this sounds like an extremely impossible undertaking I am going to continue to try to touch as many people as I can with my dream of the perfect collective and perhaps if it does not come in my lifetime (which I know it will… and soon) it is my hope to pass on the good business etiquette I have learned from some of the old people I know.

Even though she is no longer just some hot intern all the guys want to feel up she’s still loved greatly by izbya.com as we are hoping she can fill the position as Junior Editor at iZ Magazine (which I know she’ll do great at) I introduce Lexy Munoz the great and sexy and her stylish online store Bella Vita Boutique. I am a huge advocate of supporting Ethnic models in the fashion industry. My favorite types of shoots to style are ones with all the models being a different color and all wearing coordinating colors. it's such a beautiful image to me. I love all of the projects we are working on for the launch of iZ magazine. The theme is California Love. During my mini blogging hiatus I learned a lot. That was the plan. I learned that we all have issues. Humans generally have issues. Friends are people who we as humans have picked to be okay with dealing with their issues along with ones own. Getting older is very interesting mid twenties is creeping upon me fast and there is no way to fight this wave so i have come to the conclusion I am just going to ride it and face plant as little as possible.yes, i did have red velvet cupcakes for my birthday. i am currently trying to figure out the best plan to go about executing my look book for spring summer 2010 without having to slap anyone.it's hard to find people to work with who aren't full of themselves or something a little less flattering to be full of than ones self. i love my job. it's a lot of fun. i have learned that you don't always have to be the center of attention all of the time to be happy.sometimes it's okay to be fabulous in the background. the problem with me is once i have one job i just want another until i make my plate so full im always a little exhausted. it's my way of avoiding some of my own issues. Like putting out the first issue for iZ magaZINE. I just want people to understand it's a passion project. This is not just some shit im doing. Passion is better marinated a bit. I like the suspense and the evolution of the original idea and it doesnt feel perfect yet. Especially since it's hard to find people passionate about things other than themselves or drugs. I guess we as human folk live in our own bubbles for sure. and i as a human in my own bubble love to skirt issues with fashion and the mission to indulge into it more.

I love the month of march. Its my birthday month and therefore a celebration of me. Yes I am aware there are others who were also lucky enough to share this month of fresh beginnings with me. I just hope for them they are just as excited about their month of birth as I am. If not they can rest assured I am excited enough about march for all of us. The plan is to party as much as I can between working and to get as drunk on as many black bottles of vodka as I can. I will have red velvet cupcakes and the miracles and surprises can elevate from there. My favorite thing about the day I was born is buying a few new pieces for my wardrobe to accompany into my future. all of this excitement is just so when I spend all of my earnings on shoes and clothes that by the time anyone can figure out what I have done everyone will be in full celebration mode and will forget to nag me about saving. as saving is very hard for me. I would rather buy Gucci shoes. Happy Birthday to Me!!!

more time to blog im excited and giggly on the inside.
there are so many things to express it's hard to sit down and write them down in words.
i suppose that there is the challenge in being a writer.---i have been very insightful lately haha.anyways...

the facts are these:

there are celebrities in this world who just stumbled upon being popular and had to learn to fit in with the already popular people or else they dont get to stay popular and apparently it's pretty cool to be popular. then you have the people who have their celebrity because they have done something worth noticing like musicians or magazine editors. people who like busy work therefore it was inevitable they were going to be popular because they were always showing off their "talent".Then you have the rich glamorous and royal we just like watching what they do because it looks so fun. I would rather live it, but that's a whole other blogpost...

then there are those who are just plain cool. we dig them because they have good taste and we all like to be inspired. people who you meet and you just love what they are doing. probably doesn't even matter it is they are doing. people just like watching and listening to them. they enchant the room even when they arent doing something out of the ordinary. i have friends like this. i call them muse worthy. a sense of fashion only enhances the presence of a muse. people tend to gravitate towards people who can carry an image or a sense of what they are trying to portray in themselves. most muses are artists and the good news is you don't have to experience a muses prescence to experience the artistry of their message.with that being said i was very shallowly inspired by the fact that Susie Bubble has cardboard cut outs of her in fun ensembles. But that got me to thinking about how anyone can inspire us at anytime and about how in life it's fun to effortlessly strive to impress or inspire someone. Thanks for the inspiration to all of those who are muse worthy because you can't always say thank you.

I don't know very many women who are withdrawn and don't like to say much.I am not that way at all. Even when they are not loud and all up in someone's face the ladies I lunch with still love to make extreme statements. They have no filters, good looks and tons of giggles. We like guns too. The Married to the MOB ladies seem like they might enjoy lunching with us. I will have to extend an invitation to them sometime. But until then we will just wear their bold statement pieces to lunch. life is odd... i dont know what to wear for life being odd. i have the tendency to over dress. i like over dressing i like to get overdressed to bake a cake it's awesome. i cant seem to find a reasonable studio space worth the price and sweet location of my family members housing spaces. life has dilemmas. i am a firm believer that everyone's life has dilemmas and a positive state of mind is better than a negative one. and when i am in a good mood i like to get dressed and unfortunately i have had to commit to dress down for work. maybe thats why i am mopey, sigh im love red velvet cupcakes im completely addicted i cant stop thinking about them. its all good im dreaming of them right now...

... it is currently raining where I am which i both love and hate. i love that it gives me an excuse to stay home and search the web most of the day and put up a post. i hate the fact i have errands to run still and i have to head back to LA and no one really likes traveling in the rain. i ran across this first picture of the spring summer 2010 Gucci ad campaign and almost choked on air because i absolutely have to have these shoes. I continued my research into the Gucci ad campaign and ran across a few other cool accessories and pieces in the other pictures that follow the piece of art work that displays the shoes sent from the universe made just for me. i really dig this karl lagerfeld guys style. i also really like the idea of dressing up and pretending sort of like you are somewhere else but in the same place in the future. well it's really the dressing up part i am into not particularly the time travel part. i love clothes i love quality clothing that was built to be used and lasts forever. i love clothes that are made to be art and displayed and i love a beautiful pair of gloves.i would love to be a lady all day as a career.i always though Chanel as the brand that ladies wore.

...i dont particularly believe in marriage for what it's supposed to be anymore.i believe in receiving elaborate pieces of jewelry as a courting gift. but if i was going to get married i wouldnt have a wedding i would have a fabulous party series.ceremonies are kind of weird then i would have another smaller party for my family and then i would have another party on an island somewhere and perhaps ill have a full day fabulous vogueesque photoshoot and i wouldnt have a cake id have red velvet and like cinnamon little cupcakes tones of them. maybe not in this order. the parties are so i can interchange between bad ass outfits that look sorta like this. dont worry my wishes might change after like 40 (probably not) but until then...

having a mostly female staff is very dramatic. its fun. it makes for great office party conversation. scheduling women for anything creative can become chaos. I am going back to dressing like a harajuku girl i think. I made the decision to try being a bit more conservative and sexy in the attempt to nab a boyfriend. I am now pretty bored with boys and wanting to wear layers and creative shoe and sock combos. i like the idea of picking a theme and being free with that concept and going all the way. As much as I love Gaga I think if she wasn't a performer then she would be going a bit too far lately. I love the real life freedom and mesh of reality and fantasy land that i always see in Japanese street style photos. Even though I am from Los Angeles I do get a little bummed about how little people get artistically creative there. There seems to be a lot of the overly trendy and to cool hipster and funky hip hop style. But very rarely will you run across a grouper people of ok and feel good. not because of who it's made by. But i will admit its getting better. I have also decided I want to go out and party more with a crowd younger than the one I party with now. I need somewhere to wear these crazy outfits i am going to attempt to put together... just thinking.

i know people all over the world have mourned the death of fashion dynamo Alexander McQueen. i did not know him. i loved him it not hard perhaps odd but not hard. he was an artist. i believe in a life of creativity and being yourself. he is in the top 10 reasons i spent so much money on fashion school. i like how bold his brand is. i bought a bunch of pieces from target i didn't like because i love A McQueen. i will post a favorite quote of his on my blog.not to be selfish but it always really sucks when someone you always wanted to work for or with dies.i think its very awkward to mourn someone's death you never knew. Is it really genuine or are you doing it because it was something we were all taught to do as children. Never the less he seemed like a good guy... and had a very inspiring fashion image. thanks

okay i admit it. i chickened out. iz magazine should have been a functioning force by now. i just love when things are perfect. it's really starting to affect my life in an uncomfortable mad scientist sort of way. i am starting to loose a little piece of myself. i can tell by my way of lack of caring what i wear all day. i know it's sunny in the middle of winter here in la 50% of the time but of course other places and their weird weather moods get picked up on the west coast. i also got overwhelmed with the amount of lazy people who wanted to jump on my project expecting to get paid. ummmm what? i love California none the less. to be fair i have no idea where any of these people were really from. then there was like the shady person who walked in and kept trying to look at my notes and was all extra helpful and shady. all in the first 15 min of the interview. i allowed it to go for that long because i suspected this person might grab all my notes and run out the door to take them to a lair somewhere to steal all of my ideas. that did not happen.i have a ton of amazing vintage pieces to shoot and post to sell. i love them all. i want them all for myself forever. this will not happen. new items will be up by the end of february, slowly. i cant wait until spring. people dont look at you like you are crazy when you wear ruffles in the spring. this spring i might consider not wearing my dresses so short all the time. so i will do it now to get it out of my system. my excuse for wearing short hemlines lately: bold tights.in honor of love I have decided to draw hearts on everything all over. i will continue this until... im going to start with a dress and work my way up to my crushes face...

this is what ot looks like in my head when i imagine getting dressed in a month or two...

i believe it is very important to own two homes or at least live in two places. at least for me anyways. if this is too much for you then my advice to you would be explore the place you live or go on a vacation. shaking things up and not always doing what everyone else is doing is the best way to survive or else you can never find out what it is you yourself are wonderful at to share with other people and isn't that why we are here? i was currently defending my decision to pursue a career in fashion with someone who is a dentist. in this conversation i may have gone through at least bottle of wine and summarized the whole experience as a lesson of compassion. i also keep trying to figure out if i should shoot a lookbook for spring and summer 2010. im leaning towards hell yeah... but i feel like i have so many other things i am already giving my attention.things like giveaways and trying to throw an event that people wont trash for la fashion week. All i have really wanted to do is change outfits like 5 times a day and live a life of leisure. my life has been filled with working and more chores than i remember having before.i feel like the post office and I just can't get on the same page and i think all thinks print should be textured lately. well i suppose as always to be continued...
